Subject: 88 CV Joint ?s
Content-type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

I thought that flashy subject header might get ya!

Moo - my 88 westy is developing a click in the left rear wheel. Maybe she is telling me its time to clean the CV joints.

I had a look and found the outter boots and joints are covered by a heavy metal "casing". In fact the bottom end of my shocks are attached to that "casing?

Geeze... do I have to squeeze my hands and tools into that thing to get at the boot and joints?? UGH!

I have no lift just those ramp things!

Any comments or suffestions would be appreciated!

Barry Mercer
