Dave, you asked: << What is this float? Any pictures of it anywhere (outside of the Bentley)? Replacements available? Any ideas how to rig up a custom-made replacement?...I thought of getting some of that industrial packing-material stuff, that white hard foam material and cutting out a float that would work. How to attach it to the magnet? Don't want to glue it, that would taste nasty in the water...Suggestions welcome. >> You're on the right track. When my float took on water and sank, I glued it back together. Then I cut a strip of Styrofoam from a coffee cup and used a rubber band to hold it onto the float. It's not an elegant solution, but it works for me.
