There may be gear ratio differences between the AC and water boxer, but my re geared 90 GL tranny has a 4.57 r/p and .77 4th and I'm running a true 70 mph at 3400 rpm(stock is about 4000rpm) Unless Stan has made major tire or tranny changes or his tach is way off, somethin's fishy here.
