Three digits is possible - I do 100km/h all the time!  Seriously though I
have had my former [sold] 1984 Westfalia up to 160km/h (100mph) - it was
equipped with a 105hp 1.8L motor from a Jetta GLI - this was on a slight
down hill and over a long period of time (2 minutes) to get to the speed,
but it is about as fast as it wanted to go - putting the RPM gauge in the
low 5000s in 4th gear - just for the record, westies arn't meant to go that
fast - a very scary ride at that speed.

i am hoping to have a van that can hit 3 digits... :)

with a 2.0l motronix 8v, 262 cam, and a stage 2 TURBO.... 170hp
