Chris,

I found my bus used to really feel best at 75-80 with stock heads and C.R. If a headwind was another story.

Have 650 miles on rebuilt top end with AVP heads and about 115-120 compression so far. Feels like it will probably not be a freeway cruiser with this rebuild. Seems more like the old loaf upright engines so far for power/speed.

Oh yeah .... probably holed engine by keeping up with all the 75-80 mph traffic on a hot day in a fair headwind ... have vowed to keep the speeds down in the future.
