Subject:      Drive flange / output shaft seal.

I've got a leaky drive flange output seal on the left side of my tranny. My question is: how do I remove the drive flange. On transverse mounted VW engines there is a special tool to compress a huge spring behind that flange; on Quantums (inline mounted again) there is just a single bolt and you slide the flange out; on Vanagons it looks like you have to leverage it out somehow... What are the tricks??
