Hi Frank,

I'm glad someone else has discovered the pleasures of rooftop camping. May I recommend another great venue? Venice, Italy! When you drive into Venice, you cross a 5 km dam which ends on an artificial island just outside the old city. You must leave your car at a couple of huge parking garages there, which cost around $15 per 24 h. Clearance on the ramp is 2.2 m so the Westy poptop is ok but no other camper can go up there. And: you're automatically directed to the roof because the other decks are too low. It was a great experience waking up and being able to look out over the turrets, cupolas, gondolas and towers...
