Hi, Im trying to remove the starter on my 87 syncro and am having a problem getting the differential lock servo off. I removed bolts A and B (what a pain) as stated on bently 27.13a. I wasnt able to 'push back' the protective sleeve, so I just cut it off. I removed the circlip (one step out of order) and then attempted to drive out the roll pin. Only problem is, there doesnt seem to be a roll pin. There is a hole that goes thru one of the cylinder shaped things, and I can successfully stick a piece of wire all the way thru, but no pin comes out or into view. However, I still cant slide the servo off. Im assuming the pin is what is keeping that sucker on, but where the hell is it? Any help would greatly be appreciated. In the meantime, Ill service the CV's. ciao, jeff __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Get email alerts & NEW webcam video instant messaging with Yahoo!
