Does any one know of a cheaper alternative to an O2 sensor for an '86 GL? My other cars (Alfa GTV6 and Alfetta) both use O2 sensors that cost about $30.00. NAPA wants $140.00 for one for my Vanagon. I am usually not so cheap, but this is a 300,000 plus thousand mile bus with lots of dents and nicks, and an interior that smells like wet dogs. I also need a muffler, I plan to go cheap on this too. What have other cheap skates on this list done and what has worked? I can weld just about anything, so fitting up something non-standard is not a problem. I was sort of considering a big long glass pack, but that may turn out to be obnoxious. David |
