This is not the thing to do. If you have the van long enough to need any other work on the wiper mechanism, you better keep a hacksaw handy. Do what Terry said, first tighten it. Hopefully the arm is still useable after allowing the wiper drive stud to ream it out. In the worst case you might need a replacement wiper arm. Rich
