Bud, were you able to remove the top from that 82 Westy? yep. hacksaw worked fine for me, torque the metal cups at the injector with pliers until you get them to oval, then cut along the short axis (don't cut the injector body!) until you can use pliers to fatigue the collar apart. then use the stainless clamps on both ends of the 2" hose. i've also heard a dremel will work well for this. bill '87 syncro westfalia http://www.scruznet.com/~kasper/pics/westy |
