Subject: wiper prob
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

I was coming back from the city last night & it began raining. Everything was going smoothly then the driver's side windshield wiper started going crazy. It'd go up & wipe, but then it would get stuck & not come back down. After helping it back down for several minutes I finally gave up & just let it wedge itself up there. For the rest of the trip I was driving having to look out the passenger's side window - obviously not a safe thing.

I'm not sure what caused this & was hoping someone would know what to do from experience. My best guess is something with the teeth for the wiper arm itself. I was thinking I could take the arm off, put some plumber's epoxy around the little knob that the wiper connects to, then slide the wiper back on causing the epoxy to mush between the two, harden, & hopefully make the arm work properly. Please let me know something I can do & pmail me seeing as I am in digest mode. Thanks a bunch.
