Have you checked the fuel pressure? Put voltmeter on the O2 sender. It should read 0.5 to 0.7 VDC when up to temperature. Check readings at the ECU cable. Disconnect and check the specs per the Bentley. Temp II can be checked cold and hot (after running). Throttle switch stuck in WOT position? All this stuff (except fuel pressure) can be done with a good multi-meter. Jay

Symtoms: 1) low gas mileage 9.5 mpg ouch!!!! 2) thick black smoke coming from tail pipe when accelerating 3) NO ACCELERATION POWER (bottoms out at 20 mph on hills) justin 84' westy
