<< After reading Sheng's email about the Ebike, I had to go see for myself. As it turned out, my wife fell in love with it, and we got one. Now, the question is, how much weight can I load onto the tailgate of my 85 Westy? The bike weighs 79 lbs (about 60 lbs with the battery removed). I'm off to pick up a bike rack tomorrow that will carry the weight, and I'm hoping the rear hatch will support the weight without difficulty.

Any advice?

We offer both the Fiamma and Paulchen bike racks.

Both are currently out of stock, but the Fiamma racks are arriving in about a week.

Both racks are rated to hold up to 50kg, or about 110 pounds.

We also offer the Fiamma HT3 which will mount to a receiver hitch. All of these racks support the bikes from the wheels up. Hanging a bike by the crossbar on the frame is a bad idea.
