Having rebuilt master cylinders several times, I have come to the conclusion
that it is not worth the time nor trouble for the money saved because, once
rebuilt, it will have to be done again all too soon.  I have always honed the
bores, refined the surface finish, scrubbed and cleaned them scrupulously and
assembled them with the correct assembly lubes.  Yet, they never last
anywhere near as long as the originals.
