Subject: Electrical short, need advice...
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi,

I have a short somewhere in the wiring for my tail, parking, and side marker lights (left). I keep blowing the fuse every few days. I have removed all of the light casings and inspected the area of wire that is visible, but all of that wire seems to be in resonably good condition. Ive swapped out all the bulbs. I cant seem to tell what exactly what I do that shorts it out, because it doesnt happen when I test all the lights, blinkers, etc. The short always occurs at somepoint when I am driving.

My problem is that I dont have the slightest clue as to how to go about finding where the short is. My electrical skills and knowledge are nill.

Can one of you electricle gurus give me some pointers to finding out where the problem exists? Speak to me as if I know nothing about electrical stuff.

Thanks a million,

jeff
