Subject:      idle problems
Content-Type: multipart/alternative;

Sorry for the repeat question, but this problem has me consumed. '91 syncro. When it's cold, it idles too slow, (800 on the dash tach) when warm 1.2K plus. Lately it's been getting worse, up to 1.8K. If I shut it off and restart it, it will return to 800. To date, I have swapped the following parts from my other syncro that has only 41K original miles: idle stabilizer, along with the relay behind the left tail light, throttle body, complete air box with AFM, distributor and ECU. I've installed a new temp sensor II and a new throttle cable, properly adjusted. Someone suggested the coolant temp. sensor. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the other sensor beside temp. II is just the guage sender and doesn't send any info to the ECU? What am I missing??? New O2 sensor, too. Going nuts Rob
