Subject: Re: mechanics classes in bay area?
Comments: To: Stan Wilder <wilden1@juno.com>

San Francisco Auto Repair Center (415-285-8588) at 611 Florida St (at Harrison) has offered classes and working space/tools for "do-it-yourselfers" for years. I used them many years ago (~20 years?!) before I had space and tools for auto work. I don't know what level of classes or work they offer these days. Give them a call or stop by. I'd be curious to hear what they're like these days.

Another good reason for dropping by this place is that Potrero Brewing Company is now just 1/2 block north of them. Great beer and food.
