Subject: Removing rubber cement from old poptop seal ??
Content-Type: text/plain

The previous owner of my van really got into the rubber cement when putting the last seal on the poptop.......now its time for a new one.

The old rubber seal comes off easily, but there remains gobs of old rubber cement around the edge ....and its very difficult to remove.

Are there solvents to get rid of old crusty rubber cement ??

Appreciate any tips.

Warren C.;
