Subject: 235/45/17 tires fit? (Jap 5-stud is 112x5 PCD)

Any idea whether 235/45/17 tires on 17 x (I assume 8)" wheels will fit without fouling the T3 fenders? Van is not lowered. These are ET35, so I guess 9mm spacers will be needed. They are new, bought for a Mitsubishi GTO. Apparently all recent 5-stud Japanese cars use the 112x5 PCD.

They were bought new for the car but after 3 weeks the fellow sold it, and didn't want to let the wheels go with it. Asking price with Kumhos is about $645US.

I was told by a wheel dealer that all alloy wheels sold new on the NZ market are approved for vehicles over 2.5 tonnes.

Regards Andrew
