The 094 fivespeed was sold everywhere BUT USA. No idea why not in USA. But 1st is a crawler gear, not really useful in daily use. Plus 1st is awkwardly in line with reverse.

My exAustralian 84, for instance, wa s 5-speed. Tranbs is lying disused now, needing a bearing & 2 gears. Evantually it may end up going to the dump.
