Weel, laddies, ahm back! Pallid, pooped and perturbed. Bessie the charolais camper has a new moto. SVX 3.3l DOHC. Rather quick, a little thirsty. Still teething. Was to pick up the finished product on Friday two weeks ago. Various demons needed to be exorcised however and the rattle off date pushed out for six glorious days of being "trapped in Tacoma" the subject of a yet to be released dark comedy. I'll be meeting with the eminent high priest of conversions, HRH Hobert Kennedy, for some experimental testing of exhaust emissions components in a couple of weeks but until then I'll be sorting out cooling problems, leak problems wiring problems and other new child issues. Sorry I missed the Frydae Phunnies. Nice work Unca J. Reminds me of a sign on the Aegis darkroom at DartCol. "this is a dark room, please keep the door closed lest all the dark escape". Unca J, you shoulda seen the face on that ricewagen driver when his much modified with very expensive wheels, tires, ground effects, zippyneat paint, and a phallic exhaust system with accompanying logos and such in various languages, when he was sorely dusted by a 12 year old bus driven by a GOMER at a SLGP in Whorygun. I got the "hook'em" sign from him and his passenger at the next light. I could hardly hide the fiendish grin, flipped him the classic "V" for victory, verizon and peace and gently motored off into the late afternoon sun. Now I gotta study on how to pass other cars...mo latah. pensioner |
