I responded about the potential liability.

I have a Carver propane furnace in my '74 Westy. It is very safe.

The Truma heaters are also quite safe. If I understand this correctly, the Truma does not have a safety shut off valve that would be mandated by the Propane Industry here in the US. I do not recall what that valve is intended to do, but the heaters have circuitry built in to control the flame in the sealed combustion chamber.

The Carver and Truma mini furnaces are vented to the outside and tens of thousands are in use in Europe. The Truma is the most common brand of furnace found in any Camper or RV over there.

Liability is a concern for me as well as anyone who sells anything. This is the reason I don't offer the Truma heaters even though Reimo does and my company is the US distributor for Reimo. This is also the reason Truma doesn't want to offer their heaters in the US.

Product liability always falls to the manufacturer and not the retailer, unless of course the retailer installed or modified the item, or the retailer knew the item was dangerous or defective.

So I suggested if you really wanted one of these propane heaters you should buy it in Europe and ship it back here.
