Excessive grease will cause a bearing to run hot, blow out the seals, and
then fail. This is rare but it does happen. Always leave some room for the
grease to expand.

One minor point that you made, that I find to be an absolute
impossibility.

A wheel bearing failure due to over lubricating it? ( excessive grease )
