Subject: I Bought One!!

Thanks for all the good advice I received from all those who responded to my request for purchasing advice.

Here's all the current details:

Rather than purchase either the '77 camper or the '84 Westfalia Wolfburg, I found an '88 Weekender in better condition, less miles on the rebuilt engine (receipts included for all work), a stereo system with both tape and 6-pack CD player (cost to owner about $800) for $1,000 less than the asking price of the '84. My wife and I both thought this was a great deal. For $1,000, I can carry a propane camping stove and electric cooler that works much better than the fridge in the '84.
