I am in my home in America. I am asking what the market will bear. Does that
count?

Personally I tell people what I want unless it's an auction like eBay. I have
offered things for free and people still ask how much. In the case of an eBay
posting, my listings tell you where the item is all the way down to a zip
code. How much closer do you want it to read?

I agree that prices should be indicated on postings. It is such a waste to
have to email the person just find out that you can't afford it. I have
addressed this in the past  only to be told that it is just "marketing". It's
a free country (most of the time). Just as you can beef about it, they can
withhold their asking price or location if they wish. Most people just plain
forget or don't know any better. Do what I do. If I don't like someone's
marketing practices, I just ignore those postings. It's your choice.
