I'm beginning to think that this project it too involved (for the time being, at least) and too costly as well. Here in the UK it's difficult enough to find a donor van to get second hand bits from, let alone one with power steering!

Thanks for your replies, but I'll give it a miss - 'til the kids have flown the nest and I either convert the 7-seater to a camper, or trade it in for one!
