Well put Chris.

Mike in Fresno is entitled to his opinion...mine is that a lot of the 'steely resolve' we citizens of the USA will call upon in these next weeks is an inherited gift from the many, many peoples and countries which sent (and send) their children to these shores over the millenia.

We are a nation of imports (RVC).

In the '70's, Detroiters (not generally known for their social graces) put up a great big billboard facing east across the river to Windsor which said: Thank You Canada! - for the Canadian Embassy's role in providing safe harbor to U.S. citizens in Teheran when our embassy was seized. That made me proud to be an American and to have such strong allies in troubled times.
