Subject: Getting rich selling parts
Content-Type: text/plain

Is anyone else sick of people trying to get rich selling parts on this list? I am.

If you've got a van you're sending to the junkyard, in the spirit of helping others on the list, why don't you post something like "Van on its way to the junkyard in a week - come take whatever bits you want before it's gone - located in Anytown, USA"? You'll make a bunch of people happy, you'll make some new friends, maybe someone will buy you a beer or even insist that you take a few bucks or offer some spare parts they've got that you might need.

That's what this list is all about. Clean out your garage, recover your costs - that's just fine. But if you want to use this forum for free advertising to squeeze every last penny out of a junked van or a listmember in need, take it somewhere else - I, for one, don't want you here!
