That will not help a bit. (Don't mean to sound blunt). The Attorney General enforces the laws at the request of a state agency or state officer, or defends the officers, or agency, etc. when requested by their client. Who is the client? Not the consumer. Its the state agency, the governor, agency heads, officers, etc. The AG does not have authority to just jump in there and start filing suits and charging people with crimes. Not going to happen as a general rule. Don't waste time filing complaints directly with that office of any state. It's not proper chain of command, and it makes the lawyer for the state in effect his/her own client. That's a little too cozy for job security wouldn't one say?? If there is a law, then there is an enforcement mechanism. Sometimes it lies in the hands of the consumers directly. They can sue.
