I see a lot of talk about converting from one gas engine to another gas engine and converting from one diesel engine to another diesel engine. However I do not see many people converting from gas to diesel, specifically TDI. The TDI looks like a very impressive engine. Are there any reasons why I would regret converting a gas engine to TDI?

Folks,

I'd like to let you know that one of my suppliers has just released a breakthrough in the TDI conversion idea. They now have available brand-new, 0-mile TDI engines, very complete, that are mechanically-controlled, NO computer and wiring nightmare to deal with. This company has developed a hybrid injection system that is similar to the one used on the 1.9 TD (AAZ-code) engines. Claims are made that the engine is as powerful, efficient, and clean-running as the drive-by-wire / computerized TDI engine. One person who has already installed one of these claims to have made some modifications to boost power output to the tune of 185 hp! These units are available for the price of $4150 plus shipping, which should be $100~175 depending on your location. I agree the price sounds steep, but the ease of installation more than makes up for the cost. If you are interested, mail me quickly, as the first batch of 6 units may go quickly!
