Subject: "Highway Flyer" Vanagon Trans - $1495
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

One of my suppliers has three brand new '83-91 (1.9L/2.1L) 4-speed transaxles available for sale. These have a 456 final drive, not 487 as is stock in the US, meaning that your engine will run at slightly lower RPM's at highway speeds. Good highway cruiser trans for people who take long trips in their Vanagon, without any significant impact on lower-speed driveability. These are genuine Volkswagen (imported from South Africa), and are warranted by the distributor for 6 months/6000 miles. Price is $1495. I'm not going to put them on the website due to limited availability. If you're interested, email me directly, or call the below number and ask for Dan.
