Something a little more accurate upon those lines.

Vanagon content: Would like some information on improving night visibility. More so, additional lighting..

Thanks Stephen

<*snip*> The most widely quoted is verse X74

|----------------------------------+---------------------------------------| | L'an mil neuf cens nonante neuf | In the year 1999 and seven months | | sept mois | | |----------------------------------+---------------------------------------| | Du ciel vienera vn grand Roy | Will come the great King of Terror | | deffraieur | | |----------------------------------+---------------------------------------| | Resusciter le grand Roy | He will bring to life the great king | | d'Angolmois | of the Mongols | |----------------------------------+---------------------------------------| | Auant apres Mars regner par bon | Before and after war reigns happily | | heur | | |----------------------------------+---------------------------------------|

A lesser known but very relevant verse is VI.97

|------------------------------------+-------------------------------------| | Cinq et quarante degres ciel | The sky will burn at forty-five | | bruslera | degrees | |------------------------------------+-------------------------------------| | Feu approcher de la grand cite | Fire approaches the great new city | | neufue | | |------------------------------------+-------------------------------------| | Instant grand flamme esparse | Immediately a huge scattered flame | | sautera | leaps up | |------------------------------------+-------------------------------------| | Quant on voudra des Normans faire | When they want to have proof of the | | preuue | Normans | |------------------------------------+-------------------------------------|

In her 'The Final Prophecies of Nostradamus', Warner Books , reprinted in 1995 , Erika Cheetham gives an interpretation that shows that this verse is not just dragged up because it fits. "New York lies between 40 and 45 degrees parallel in the USA. It is often referred to by Nostradamus as the Cite neufue, which was its contemporary name during Nostradamus time. It appears that the attack on the city is very widespread, instant grand flamme espase sautera."

This verse connects to verse X49

|--------------------------------+-----------------------------------------| | Jardin du monde au pres de cite| The garden of the World near the the New| | neufue | City | |--------------------------------+-----------------------------------------| | Dans le chemin des montaignes | In the road of the hollow mountains | | cauees | | |--------------------------------+-----------------------------------------| | Sera saisi et plonge dans la | It will be seized and plunged in the | | Cuue | (tank/vat/tub/basin) | |--------------------------------+-----------------------------------------| | Beuuant par force eaux soulfre | Forced to drink water poisoned with | | enuenimees | sulphur. | |--------------------------------+-----------------------------------------|
