Hello all, a quick question for you about my '87 Vanagon. I'm planning on using Castrol GTX 20W50 during most of the year with the exception of the cold winter months. I had figured I switch to 5w30 then. Is that fine, if not what do you recommend?

Also in on of my books it talks about installing a new copper washer on the oil drain plug when changing oil, do any of you do this? Thanks, Tony

this is coming to you from Anthony Bailey KC0HZP (mailto:abailey@mac.com) Marble Hill, Missouri 63764
