OK... while we're on the subject of rust... I have an 89 syncro westy that is remarkably rust free. But when I was washing her last weekend (yes, I actually do that on occasion), I noticed two very, very tiny rust spots just starting where the paint had been chipped off apparently by a rock or something. Not wanting them to turn into GREAT BIG HUGE RUST SPOTS, I'd like to do something about them, but don't know what to do. Suggestions? Seriously, they are the tiniest spots imaginable... and this is the rust capital of the US. No salt on the roads, just in the air... and humidity... everywhere. TIA. mick 89 syncro westy hilo, hawaii |
