Chuck, BTDT. You'll need a new regulator. I had this problem as well as a bad autostop filler valve recently. Good news is that they are fairly cheap. The only messy part is that they don't make the stock regualtor anymore. I was lucky enough to find a dusty stock unit in a trailer park near my place recently, but you'll probably need to find a Marshall Brass brand regulator at your local RV parts store and 'massage' the 2 gas lines since the newer ones are longer than stock. Just take your time and try not to pinch the lines in one spot. I don't have a thorough understanding of the regulator, but it just steps down the tank pressure to a pressure that is copasetic for the fridge and stove. HTH, John Haddad |
