Something funny happened on the way to work this morning. I put Marvel Mystery Oil in the Vanagon two weeks ago and have not driven it much since. Finally got around to driving it to work and for the first time ever, it gave the oil flicker at idle. Didn't keep doing it but still put a scare in me. I put a couple ounces in the oil. Is it characteristic that this can occur due to the thinning of the oil? Nothing else has changed from what I have been using for quite a while now. Oil and filters are the same. Just added maybe 3-4 ounces of Marvel.
