If a vendor has been informed or discovered that a certain item he/she is selling is NOT made in the country that they thought it was, I believe they have the responsibility to inform the Buyer. Whether there are legal protections to that effect. I personally would not patronize a vendor who knowingly continues to advertise in that manner.

I am assuming that the listvendors in question have made these corrections in their websites, catalogs, etc. If they haven't, it's very simple to vote with your pocket book. Or you can go the complicated route that my lawyer likes to go. Just because there is no specific law dealing with your situation doesn't men you can't sue. Maybe get a law name after you.
