Just a quick note to my friends there (who are mostly nameless since my
name-rememberer was busy with other matters):  yesterday I successfully
fitted a patch, the leak rate is down from the original 200 gallons per
hour to practically nil, and I'm sitting in the Basin (*not* near the rock)
getting ready to head for Kittery.  Thanks to everyone, especially Ken and
Rich (and Sylvan, of course).

ps -- I won't see any replies unless they come direct to me.  Anyone who'd
like a history of this cruise let me know and I'll send it.  I expect to be
back in Providence Thursday, God and weather permitting.
