$5000 Canadian is a decent price for that based on my experience shopping for them. The seats are very similar to Vanagons except the upholstery material perhaps. Most Transporters do not have powersteering. Other than that, what's available for Vanagons as drivetrains were available in Transporters as well. Finding Double Cab specific body parts can be a challenge in the US but not impossible. Should be even easier in Canada. I'd buy it if I was in your place assuming by budget can afford it.
