Subject: Vegemite/Marmite/Promite weenies on the barbie
Content-type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

Welcome to rec.food.cooking....

Vegemite NE Marmite NE Promite.

All are yeast extracts made from the byproducts of beer manufacture or other dead yeast sources.

All have staunch supporters in various corners of the former British Empire.

Vegemite RULES! anything else is simply imitation and a poor one at that.

The Albertsons chain in Western US and others carry Vegemite and Marmite albeit at vastly elevated prices.

RVC: So the Benster did the weenie on the barbie thing yesterday much to the delight of all involved. Lotsa syncros, westies, upgrades, kids, dogs, laughter, fog, rides in my VVX, endless discussions regarding various technical and non technical subjects.

Thanks to DH for the cookery, Benster for the setup and kewl immigrant, tourist, bunkerburner tablehauler and organization. The Hairyzone travelers for my excellent lunch with sawtayed peppers, sausage al carbon. Some kind soul volunteered a steelhead pale and I thank you but...I dis-remember who it was.

After placing faces on those whom I have never met and renewing old contacts (steve hoge, mike not from fresno, BAAX from Scruz) and feeling very altitude challenged after meeting Tallsound, I wandered off around six peeyem back into the madness.

Yes, martha, 235x75s will fit but you gotta modify your front lip. The Arcata Tri-Star is beautiful. Mr. Wessels MOG is a fine piece of work. Sr. Fongs clean-mobile is most fine. The native american motif on the SchwenkSyncro is very nice. The fly by wire installation in Tallsounds westie is verrrry inneresting. After all who needs all them geegaws like guages and so on. Looks like BFG TA/KOs are the tire of choice. Never knew there were so many kinds of digital cameras. Stealth camping is possible in the heart of SF. Chris the consummate surfer has it down pat for today's equivalent of a "woodie"

Noticeably absent: Psavage, Coyote, mrubin, bradley, ken H,

Now back to your regular programming
