I'm getting ready to change brake fluid in my '85 so I pulled out the big green book to study the gospel according to Bentley. The table in Bentley (47.8a) tells me I should start with the right rear, then left rear (so far so good), then right front lower(?), right front upper(?), then left front lower(?) and finally left front upper(?). What the heck is this upper and lower thing on the front? The illustrations on 47.4 and 47.5 show a bleeder screw and a drain screw -- the drain screw looks to be physically lower than the bleeder screw but is labeled 'do not bleed caliper from this screw.' What??? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Chuck '85 Wolfsburg Westy - 'Roland the Road Buffalo' |
