>The two roundplastic washers that hold the end of the arms in the metal sleeve of the >skylight are broken. I can't open or close it without the arms popping out. You know, my skylight's flex arms have always popped out of their tracks as the skylight is opened and snapped back in place as it is closed... never having owned a westy before (only splitties, loafs and gl vanagons), I thought that was normal... it has done that since I got it 15 months ago. Doesn't really seem to present a problem that I can think of, although now that I think of it I guess it's not working properly. But why fix it anyway? Only thing I can think of is that it might scratch the skylight a little. Thoughts? Mick 89 Syncro Westy Hilo, Hawaii |
