After re subscribing to the List a few months ago, one of the first messages I got was "Snow White". I carefully deleted it but received it a couple more times over the next week. No more since. I had gotten "Snowed" months prior (I never opened the attachments) but my ex-girlfriend confessed she was the carrier so I blocked all her future e-mails with Outlook. Have been running and updating NAV regularly with no known side effects. I've lurked on the list for some time, and then only a week ago, joined and sent a message. Within a day or two, I got a spam from a porn site about Snow White and the seven dwarves. I've never used this email address for anything but that posting to the list. Today, I got another one, same porn site, same message. Did anyone else get that particular spam ? I suppose some web spider, or whatever those programs are called, are picking them off of the archives web site ? |
