Vananuts,

On my '85 Westy I have a broken exhaust header, number 4 I think [rear cylinder, driver side]. I will replace it but I need to use the van this weekend.

Does anyone know of something I can wrap, glue, plug the crack with for a week or so.

In the meantime I'll be soaking the head studs with penetrating oil twice daily if possible or more and ordering gaskets. Do I need anything else in the way of hardware?

Wish I could afford the Stebro

TIA

Mike from Sacramento
