Why carbs?? The Digifant II injection system works very well, burns cleaner and much more efficient. Also there is a built in knock sensor which will protect your 10.0:1 engine. Think twice before swapping that good FI system for carbs.

Project: Weekender 87 I4 cheap convertion.

I was looking for some used 1.6 diesel parts for I4 convertion: -oil pan -oil pump -maniful (exahust) I have now a bell housing for diesel, and jetta 91, 1.8 engine.

In my plan of convertion I want get out (bye bye) injection system and ECU and electric pump, Carburator and mechanic fuel pump are my choice, i think that it's posible. I 'm new in convertions, please any word of help for future complications or demons, and of coarse parts for sale are pretty, very welcome.
