Subject: Wanted: decent WBX engine for '84gl
Content-type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

A friend's '84GL blew head gaskets after 290k on the odo and the original engine. He does not know if both blew sides but has decided to look for a "newer" replacement engine. I have offered to do the switch over for him.

We live in Southern Ohio; but he is retired, very mobile and willing to drive for a deal. I mentioned seeing a Westy on the list in NJ, but he prefers just the engine, please. That distance didn't seem to bother him. I, on the other hand, might entertain the idea of a complete Westy to haul back and part out for my collection giving him the engine. The price must be right though, as my time is limited lately*. Contact me by reply.

Thanks.
