read more history ... it'll make you mad then cynical then sad.
politicians are politicians, no matter whether republican or communist
or Liberation Army or roman senate ... it's always been that way, and
it always will.

why?

cause they are humans. it's human nature. really. and there are
special personalities who gravitate toward that kind of job ... the
rest of us try hard to avoid those types, but somehow they keep
getting elected. :)

and it's all because they don't drive vw  buses!!!!!

anybody EVER heard of a congressman or senator or even city councilman
that drove a bus? NO! ya know why? cause it takes too much brains and
logical sense and dedication to detail to drive one!! and you won't
get far in politics with brains and logic and dedication (to anything
other than your election/re-election)!!!
