On the "Single Wire" oxy sensors .... some had male connectors and some had female connectors.

When I last replaced mine, the new sensor had the wrong connector for my setup (my green wire in the wiring harness is female) so I cut the wire on the sensor and soldered on a spade connector.

Worked for me.
