Well, the nasty odor of gasoline is noticeable around the front of our '87 westy (but not inside) every time we drive it. I've been up under there w/ a flashlight, checked the expansion tanks, lines I could see etc.all looks ok. So, I guess that means the bad joint or section of line is up on top of the tank, & I have to drop the thing & replace the offending part. When I first wrote about this, I think I remember someone responding that there was a kit available from VW that included all the parts liable to deteriorate up there on top of the tank. Is that correct? If so, could someone please send me the part #? Thanks, Ron Komoroski
